Some Issues With Stardoll

I have noticed that recently a lot of people have been trolled/bullied by fake accounts. Recently I suffered from this type of harassment and would like to inform my readers on how this stuff works.

• I received over 200 gifts from fake accounts.
• I received over 50 random spam comments in my guestbook.
• I received over 30 bullying/inappropriate comments in my guestbook.

In my panic I handled the situation poorly by freaking out and replying.

It may seem "cliche" but really the best way to handle this is not to ignore it but to respond calmly in a defensive way.

1. You should write a letter to Stardoll detailing the harassment. They may be able to help in special situations.

2. You should immediately make guestbook only open to friends.

3. If you have the time you can delete and report all of the nasty comments. If not just put new comments in guestbook to flood the others out.

4. You are going to have to endure some hate for a while... but the haters will eventually get bored and move on.

Bullying on Stardoll

Bullying is NEVER acceptable.

This law applies to real life and online.

Just because Stardoll is not Facebook or Twitter does not mean that bullying somebody on Stardoll does not mean that it does not qualify as cyber bullying.

When you hurt somebody's feelings on Stardoll you are still hurting the feelings of the person behind the computer and bullying is NEVER acceptable.


I could honestly care less what they did to you... don't stoop to their level.
